RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Republican voters in North Carolina are continuing to support entrepreneur Donald Trump for president. A new poll from Public Policy Polling shows Trump at 24% support among primary voters.

In second place is neurosurgeon Ben Carson, at 14%, following by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 13% and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 10%.

But Trump doesn't fare well when the primary electorate is asked to choose between Trump and Carson. Nearly 6 of 10 voters choose Carson in that matchup.
