RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - North Carolina's unreserved cash balance stands at $1,635,047,386.63 as of January 22, 2016.

The state began the week -- January 19 -- with $2,717,716,415.29 in the account.

Receipts of $1,157,443,790.39 were added to the coffers from tax and non-tax items. Other receipts totalled $241,194,144.61.

Disbursements were:

-- $195,600,558.43 for payroll

-- $48,033,211.81 for state aid

-- $159,672,573.94 for Medicaid/other provider payments

-- $95,608,234.63 for general operating.
