U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, met with Supreme Court Nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett ahead of the Senate Judiciary confirmation hearings. 

 

“I had a great meeting with Judge Amy Coney Barrett, which reaffirmed what a supremely qualified nominee she is, and why I look forward to getting her confirmed,” said Senator Tillis. “Judge Barrett made it clear that her duty is to uphold the Constitution and interpret the law as written, and not to legislate personal political beliefs from the bench. Judge Barrett is exactly the kind of fair-minded and impartial justice North Carolinians expect and deserve to have on the Supreme Court."
