Federal Grand Juries Indict Six Aliens On Immigration, Firearm and Fraud Violations PDF Print E-mail

A federal grand jury in Raleigh has indicted Raymundo Barrios-Jimenez, 35, of Mexico, Jaime Carbajal-Sanchez, 36, of Mexico, Jesus Cervantez-Ruiz, 47, of Guatemala, and Omar Vasquez-Roman, 37, of Mexico with Illegal Reentry of a Deported Alien. 
 
If convicted, Barrios-Jimenz and Carbajal-Sanchez could face two years of imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, and a term of supervised release following any term of imprisonment. Vasquez-Roman could be sentenced to 10 years having been allegedly deported for two felony convictions, both for illegal reentry of a deported alien. Cervantez-Ruis could face a 20-year sentence, given he allegedly had been deported after being convicted of felony assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury. 
 
Also indicted in Raleigh by a federal grand jury is Tamer Ahmed Qaid Said Rabeh, 36, of Egypt. He's charged with Illegal and Unlawful Alien in Possession of a Firearm. If convicted, he could face a 10-year sentence.
 
Maximo Orlando Rodriguez 53, of the Dominican Republic has been charged with Passport Fraud, False Representation of a Social Security Account Number, and Aggravated Identity Theft. If convicted, Rodriguez faces a mandatory two year sentence and a consecutive to a ten-year term of imprisonment.
 
The cases are being investigated by the Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles, and Pender County Sheriff’s Office.
