RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Frances Cordova, director of the National Science Foundation, will deliver the commencement address at NC State University on May 9 at PNC Arena in Raleigh.

Cordova has led the organization for one year, charged with moving science forward in a variety of fields.

NC State will honor two people with honorary degrees during the commencement. Clara Adams-Ender, retired U.S. Army Brigadier General, and Betsy Bennett, former leader of the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences.
