With new, stricter and controversial election rules in other states, North Carolina keeps the more open election standards that facilitated a record vote in 2008, says Election Board Director Gary Bartlett. He tells host Barlow Herget that the turnout will be even bigger than the 4.3 million who voted in 2008, more than half from early voting that begins 17 days before the Nov. 6 Election.
