Dr. Bill Harrison, chair of the State Board of Education, tells host Barlow Herget that he has questions about Cabarrus County School Board's plan to hire on-line, for-profit company to teach children in grades k-through-12.  The state already offers on-line classes for older students, but Harrison thinks such classes may not work for younger children.  He believes compensation for virtual school is too high in state's current formula.  Listen to what he says about future of virtual schools.
