Author and veteran Democratic political consultant Gary Pearce says he has a gut feeling that's not good about President Obama's chances in North Carolina in next year's election. Pearce tells Exclusive Host Barlow Herget that Mr. Obama's best chance now is to "tear down" his opponent. On state politics, Pearce gives Republican House Speaker Thom Tillis good marks for his statewide tour to answer questions about the Republican budget, and Pearce explains the political thinking behind placing the anti-gay marriage amendment on the May 8 Primary Election rather than November's general election.
