N.C. Senate Leader Phil Berger endorsed Thom Tillis' re-election for U.S. Senate.
"When Thom was Speaker of the House, we worked together to pass a transformative conservative agenda in the General Assembly, including historic tax and regulatory reform," said N.C. Senate Leader Phil Berger. "As North Carolina’s Senator, Thom has been instrumental in providing more tax relief for hardworking North Carolinians and confirming well-qualified judges who follow the Constitution. Thom has a proven record of achieving results, which is why I’m happily supporting his re-election."
"Among my proudest moments in public service was working with Senate Leader Berger to pass unprecedented conservative reforms that got spending under control and turned North Carolina's economy around," said Senator Thom Tillis. "I'm grateful for Senate Leader Berger's support and his continued leadership in the General Assembly."
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, also endorsed Thom Tillis for re-election.
“Senator Thom Tillis stood with me against the liberal mob to confirm Justice Kavanaugh, and he will continue to stand for Donald Trump’s agenda of a strong military, lower taxes, and conservative judges,” said Senator Graham “This is why I strongly urge my neighbors in NC to re-elect Thom Tillis.”
