Former Majority Leader Will Become A Lobbyist Print

Former N.C. House Majority Leader Mike Hager of Rutherfordton is launching a lobbying firm, Hager Strategic Solutions, according to the Raleigh News and Observer. 
 
Hager resigned his seat in August and will soon begin work after he clears the six month cooling off period ends. North Carolina law requires former legislators to be out of office a minimum of six months before they register as a lobbyist. 
 
 Hager told the N&O that his firm will concentrate on regulation and energy issues. He previously worled for Duke Energy.
