Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Deborah Ross out-raised incumbent Republican Richard Burr during the second quarter, though Burr continues to enjoy a financial advantage.

 

Ross raised $2.1 million in the quarter, reported the Charlotte Observer while Burr raised about $1.6 million. It was the second quarter in a row in which  Ross out-raised Burr.

 

For the campaign, Ross, has raised about $4 million compared to the $8.8 million raised by Burr, the Republican incumbent.
