RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Voters who want to cast their congressional primary ballot early can do so beginning Thursday, May 26. The early voting window ends Saturday, June 4 at noon.

The voter registration deadline has now passed.

Barring intervention from a court over North Carolina's contested districts, the primary will be held Tuesday, June 7.

All 13 congressional seats will be on the ballot, with the majority featuring contested primaries on at least one side of the ticket. A Supreme Court seat is also on the ballot. Four candidates will be narrowed to two candidates who will compete for the seat in the fall.

Sample ballots are available at ncsbe.gov.
