RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - News media and critics of House Bill 2 are in the video crosshairs of the North Carolina Republican Party. On Sunday the party released the video, which portrays the law as common sense privacy, not rocket science.

"Grown men shouldn't be in ladies' restrooms. See -- pretty simple," says the ad.

The video coincides with Monday's rally at the state capitol for H.B. 2 supporters. Socially conservative groups such as the N.C. Values Coalition, the N.C. Family Policy Council, and the Christian Action League are urging their supporters to attend.

The groups also say their noon-time event will feature victims of sexual assault expressing their concern over the view by H.B. 2 critics that men and women should be allowed to choose the bathroom associated with their identify and not their anatomy.

The video can be found on You Tube.
