RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - A national political analyst predicts North Carolina Congressional District 9 has become even more Republican.

The Cook Political Report has moved the race from "Likely Republian" to "Solid Republican."

Republican Robert Pittenger holds the seat and is running for re-election.

Pittenger faces Mark Harris and Todd Johnson in the Republican primary on June 7.
