RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - More than a dozen people have already filed to run for U.S. Congress or the North Carolina Supreme Court in the June 7 primary.
Congressional races were not held March 15 due to a federal court ruling that said the districts lines in 1 and 12 were not legal due to use of race in drawing them. The General Assembly drew a new map and submitted it for approval.
