RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Registered voters who wish to vote in the March 15 primary election using the mail method for absentee voting can begin doing so as of this week.

The state Board of Elections calendar shows absentee voting by mail officially began Monday, Jan. 25. The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is March8. The last day to return an absentee ballot by mail is March 15.
