RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Entrepreneur Donald Trump continues a strong lead with North Carolina Republican voters. Public Policy Polling's latest survey shows Trump handily leading Sen. Ted Cruz, 38 to 16 percent. Sen. Marco Rubio takes third with 11 percent of the vote.

Trump has led the Public Policy Polling poll since July. The firm reports Trump's favorability raing at 62 percent, the highest score for any presidential candidate.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders 59 to 26 percent. Martin O'Malley scores 5%.
