RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Democrat June Atkinson wants a fourth term as North Carolina's leading elected public education officials, but she'll first have to vanquish fellow Democrat Henry Pankey.

The winner of the March 15 Democratic Party primary will face one of the following Republicans on the primary ballot:
