RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The latest campaign filing update shows five people are in the race for North Carolina governor, including Republican incumbent Gov. Pat McCrory.

The State Board of Elections website shows the candidates are:

-- Pat McCrory (R)
-- Robert Brawley (R)
-- Roy Cooper (D)
-- Ken Spaulding (D)
-- Lon Cecil (L)

Candidate filing continues through Noon on Monday, Dec. 21.
