RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Valerie Zachary will seek a full term on the court to which she was appointed earlier this year.

Zachary was appointed by Gov. Pat McCrory to the appeals court to fill the seat of retiring Judge Sanford Steelman.

Zachary is a Harvard graduate who practiced law for more than two decades in Yadkinville.
