RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - At least two people have announced they will seek the Wake County House of Representatives seat held by retiring Speaker Pro Tem Paul "Skip" Stam.
Stam is a Republican who recently announced he will not seek another term.
Democrat Lindy Brown, a member of the Wake Couny Board of Commissioners, will reportedly run for the seat.
This week, Linda Hunt Williams announced the same plan. Williams is a Republican and sits on the Holly Springs Town Council.
