RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - For weeks it has seemed a lock that North Carolina's presidential primary would be moved up from May to March 2016, but not it looks as if the primaries for all races could be on the ballot next March.

On Friday, House Speaker Tim Moore said there is consensus for making that change.

Those who support the idea say it would save money. Those who oppose it say it would not give challengers enough time to raise money and would essentially a protection for incumbents.
