RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Jeb Bush's North Carolina team has taken shape, led by Rep. Patrick McHenry, who will lead the steering committee for the Florida governor, according to the Jones & Blount street blog.

Three Republican state legislators have also signed on to the Bush effort. They are Rep. Charles Jeter of Mecklenburg County, Rep. Brent Jackson of Sampson County, and Rep. Tom Apodaca of Henderson County.

Two former Pat McCrory advisors also are with the Bush team: Jonathan Felts and Dion Clark.
