RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - A fundraising appeal from the new executive director of North Carolina's Democratic Party asks the faithful to help the party's efforts to "North Carolina forward."
Kimberly Reynolds says she's ready to get to "roll up my sleevs and get to work."
Reynolds' email announces a new deputy executive director, Doug Wilson.
The party also has a new chairwoman, Patsy Keever, who was elected to succeed Randy Voller earlier this year.
Democrats are in a rebuilding mode following several years of internal turmoil within the party apparatus and large losses at the ballot box that have put Democrats firmly in the minority following many decades of power.
State Republicans will elect a new chairperson to succeed outgoing chairman Claude Pope next month.
