RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - He's back. Ricky Diaz is taking a job as a communications expert with the North Carolina Republican Party. Diaz formerly worked for Gov. Pat McCrory as his communications director during the 2012 campaign.

Last year he joined a Washington D.C. public affairs company.

The party's executive director, Todd Poole, said Diaz has extensive experience that will help the party going into the new election cycle.
