RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Gov. Pat McCrory continues to lead his hypothetical Democratic opponent for governor, Attorney General Roy Cooper, according to new data from the Democratic polling firm of Public Policy Polling.

In a hypothetical matchup, McCrory pulls 44 percent of the vote, with Cooper getting just 39 percent.
