RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Conventional wisdom says former Sen. Hillary Clinton is the odds on favorite of Democrats to be the party's 2016 presidential nominee. But a Clinton nomination could prove problematic in North Carolina, according to new polling data.

Public Policy Polling reports that 51 percent of North Carolinians have an unfavorable view of the former secretary of state. Just 41 percent have a favorable view.

North Carolina could be a squeaker state again in 2016.

When asked who they would vote for in a race between Clinton and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who this week announced he's forming a presidential exploratory committee, the two were tied at 46 to 46.
