RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Charlotte area supporters of Lt. Gov. Dan Forest have been invited to a Christmas-Hanukkah reception Thursday night hosted by the Committee to Elect Dan Forest.

An invitation posted on Facebook lists the event as being held at the Morehead Inn.

The invitation also lists:

Forest was elected Lt. Governor in 2012. While Forest lives in Raleigh, he has many Charlotte connections. His mother is former Charlotte area Congresswoman Sue Myrick.
