RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - He's two years into a four-year term and Gov. Pat McCrory clearly wants to serve an additional four as well. The website patmccrory.com is inviting people to help share the governor's message, dubbed "the Carolina Comeback."

In a video titled "Bold Leadership," the governor talks about his actions in office, including his administration's efforts to pay back $2.5 billion in debt owed to the federal government for borrowed unemployment benefits. "I had to get North Carolina off the credit card," the governor says. The debt is scheduled to be paid off in 2015.

The website also invites supporters to volunteer and donate to McCrory's efforts.

McCrory is a Republican who was mayor of Charlotte for 14 years before being elected governor in 2012. Democrat Roy Cooper is signaling he wants to seek his party's nomination to challenge McCrory in 2016.
