RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - They'll be working together to draft the state budget and set policy on an array of issues, and now Gov. Pat McCrory is weighing in on the man expected to lead the North Carolina House of Representatives come January.

The governor released the following statement following the selection by the Republican caucus of Rep. Tim Moore of Cleveland County as its choice for Speaker of the House, replacing outgoing Speaker Thom Tillis, who is heading to Washington D.C. as a U.S. Senator.
