RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Citing a new poll from Rasmussen Reports, incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan is appealing to supporters to donate to a race she characterizes as "tightening up."
Rasmussen recently reported polling data that showed Hagan with 48 percent to Tillis' 46 percent -- within the margin of error.
Hagan faces a tight race against Republican House Speaker Thom Tillis. Libertarian Sean Haugh is also in the race.
Hagan's October 20 e-mail reads:
