RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The massive dollars continue to flow into North Carolina's U.S. Senate race. Politico reports that the National Republican Senatorial Committee has reserved $6 million in air time for the final two weeks of the campaign.

The ads, whose messages are yet unknown, according to Politico, will support Republican Thom Tillis. The North Carolina House Speaker faces a tough battle against Democratic incumbent Kay Hagan and Libertarian Sean Haugh.

Recent polls show the race is a statistical dead heat. Republicans believe Tillis is closing in on Hagan, who has held a 2 to 3 point lead for weeks.
