RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Polls show he's several points behind Democratic incumbent Kay Hagan, but Republican Thom Tillis continues to snag key endorsements.

 

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton has endorsed Tillis and is distributing a video endorsement message via social media.

 

Says Bolton in the message:

 

"We need bold leadership in Washington. I've decided to support Thom Tillis because he knows we have made a promise to our children and grandchildren to keep America strong. North Carolina deserves a better Senator than Kay Hagan."

 

On Tuesday, Hagan and Tillis will meet for the second televised statewide debate. It will be moderated by ABC News correspondent George Stephanopoulos, a former Clinton administration official and Clinton campaign consultant.
