RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - North Carolinians who want to vote early in the midterm election will have more places to do it than in any off-year election, according to the North Carolina Board of Elections.
A total of 366 one-stop sites will be open for a total of 25,735.5 hours. That includes 68.8% more evening hours than in 2010, the most recent non-presidential general election, state officials said in a news release.
“We are proud of the hard work counties have done to offer voters a variety of ways to participate,” said Executive Director Kim Westbrook Strach of the State Board of Elections in the release.
One-stop early voting begins October 23.
If a voter has moved to a new county, they must submit a new registration form by October 10.
