RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - With polls showing a very close race for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Democrat Kay Hagan, the Republicans are sending in the party's most well known stars to campaign for Republican Thom Tillis.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will campaign for Tillis on Tuesday in Wilmington.
The Republican Governors Association (RGA) says Christie will also travel to South Carolina for events with that state's governor, Nikki Haley, and the state's Republican Party.
Christie is chairman of the RGA.
