State Board Of Elections: 28 Candidates File For Three Judicial Seats Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - When the dust settled on Friday afternoon, a total of 28 candidates had filed the necessary paperwork and paid the fees to be on the ballot for three judicial races.

 
The state Board of Elections reports that 19 candidates have filed for the Court of Appeals seat vacated by Chief Judge John Martin.
 
The ballot order will be:

 Five candidates have filed for the Superior Court seat in District 15A vacated by Judge Robert Johnson (Alamance).

 Four candidates have filed for the Superior Court seat in District 26B vacated by Judge William Constangy (Mecklenburg).
