RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has something to cheer about in an election year many pundits say is trending toward Republicans.

 
The DCCC reports it raised $10.9 million last month -- more than a million more than its Republican counterpart, which raised $9.6 million, according to the Wall Street Journal
 
In terms of cash on hand, the Democratic group reportedly has more in its coffers than do Republicans -- $50.9 million to $42.5 million.
