RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The debate over debates in North Carolina's U.S. Senate race is heating up. Democratic incumbent Kay Hagan's campaign says the senator has agreed to be part of three debates. Republican Thom Tillis, however, says that's not good enough.

The Associated Press reported Thursday that Hagan will be part of a Leaague of Women Voters/WECT-TV debate and two sponsored by the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters Educational Foundation.

Tillis has agreed to those but wants more, at one point saying he's like at least 10.

Libertarian Sean Haugh is also on the Senate ballot. No word yet on whether Haugh will be included in debates.
