RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Kyle Gott, the campaign consultant who helped steer Rep. Alma Adams's successful campaign for the Democratic nomination for the 12th District seat in Congress, has been killed in a car accident in Kentucky.

 
Roll Call reported on Monday that Gott, 31, died June 19. The accident occurred on I-65.
 
He was a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
 
Gott's career in Democratic Party politics included time with the Adams campaign, as well as the Rob Wallace for Congress campaign.
 
He was educated at Western Kentucky University.
