RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - A new CBS poll has found President Obama's job approval rating continues mired in the mid-40s as he begins his sixth year as the nation's leader. Now at 46 percent, his approval rating has been below 50 percent since last February. Forty-seven (47) percent of Americans disapprove of how he's doing his job.
In more bad news for the president, the poll reveals that more Americans disapprove than approve of he's handing specific issues. CBS notes that "approval is especially low on the President's handling of the budget deficit and the surveillance activities by the National Security Agency."
