RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - North Carolina Industrial Commission member Linda Cheatham has been nominated for a second six-year term. She first took her seat in 2010.

Gov. Pat McCrory announced the nomination Monday. The General Assembly must confirm the appointment on the six-member board, which administers:

--  Workers’ Compensation Act
-- Tort Claims Act
-- Childhood Vaccine-Related Injury Act
-- Law Enforcement Officers’, Firemen’s, Rescue Squad Workers’, and Civil Air Patrol Members’ Death Benefit Act
-- Act to Compensate Individuals Erroneously Convicted of Felonies
-- Eugenics Compensation Program
