RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Nucor engineer Steve Rowlan has been appointed chairman of the commission that makes rules for North Carolina’s air and water resources.
Rowlan is a licensed civil engineer and the Director of Environmental Affairs at Charlotte-based Nucor, a steel and steel products company.
Rowlan succeeds Gerard Carroll on the 15-member Environmental Management Commission.
The group is chaning its leadership rules. The chairmanship will now rotate each year.
