Agriculture Department Activates Emergency Hotline For Farmers Impacted By Storm PDF Print E-mail

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Farmers who need resources to recover from the storm hitting North Carolina over the next two days have access to a hotline activated by the state Agriculture Department.

Commissioner Steve Troxler urged those who encounter emergencies to call 1-866-645-9403 to be connected with resources to recover from damaging ice, snow or wind damage and power outages.

The hotline will be staffed 24 hours a day through the weekend.
