State's Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate Drops To 5.7 Percent PDF Print E-mail

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Commerce Department data shows that North Carolina’s seasonally adjusted October unemployment rate was 5.7 percent. That's dowon 0.1 percent from September.

The rate is the same as it was last October.

Other date:

-- number of people employed increased 10,871 over the month to 4,488,328

-- number of poeple employed increased 124,146 over the year.

-- number of people unemployed decreased 2,042 over the month to 273,645

-- number of people unemployed increased 11,591 over the year
