RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Just five days into the new online license renewal option at DMV, online renewals have increased by more than 2,000, to 6,500.
 
State officials says DMV staff is saving time as well, with 512 hours now re-routed into helping other customers in driver license offices.
 
New mobile units and kiosks are also stationed at the State Fair in Raleigh.
