RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Four new members are set to join the state commission that adopts rules and regulations for the conduct of social service programs.
Appointments to the Social Services Commission are:
-- Sherry L. Womack (Lee County) - Lieutenant Colonel Womack entered the Army at age 17 in 1981 and graduated from one of the Army's first co-ed Basic Training Courses at Fort Rucker Alabama. She graduated from the Warrant Officer course and became commissioned as an Army 2nd Lieutenant. She assumed a Captain's position and served as the medical officer in charge of the Fort Knox Correctional Facility Medical Treatment.
-- Danielle G. McCoy (Guilford County) - McCoy is a licensed physical therapist at Gentiva Health Services. She practices in a wide variety of diagnoses including neurology, orthopedic, pediatrics and wound care.
-- Samuel R. Ibrahim (New Hanover County) - Ibrahim is a computer technology professional. He is the Vice President of Technology for Intracoastal Realty.
-- Ray V. Beatty (Catawba County) - Beatty serves as Chairman of Mental Health Partners.
The thirteen members are appointed to four-year terms.
