It's Over: Adjournment Resolution Ends 2015 Long Session Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - After eight months of conducting state business, including deciding on a new state operating budget, lawmakers have officially adjourned the 2015 legislative session.

The activities ended at roughly 4 a.m. Wednesday following approval of a technical corrections bill.

The body will reconvene for the so-called "short" legislative session on April 25, 2016.

Committees will continue to meet. The next meeting posted to the legislative calendar is the Joint Legislative Program Evaluation Oversight Committee, which is scheduled for October 7.
