RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - If you've moved to North Carolina, you know about its many assets. But state officials are hoping a new branding campaign will help lure even more people and job creators to the state.

According to officials, the comprehensive branding strategy -- built around a tagline of 'Nothing Compares' -- is designed to "promote the state’s assets, unify communications and help attract business and visitors."

The campaign rolled out over Labor Day weekend on 75 billboards across the state. Print, broadcast and digital marketing materials, as well as social media, are also being used in the campaign.

 “In an increasingly competitive environment, it’s crucial for North Carolina to articulate at a glance all we have to offer,” said Gov. Pat McCrory in a news release. “The new look and messaging are reflective of the people and the assets that make this state such an inspiring place to live, work and play. North Carolina has great momentum and will be even stronger with support of a brand that pulls everything together.”

The 'Nothing Compares' tagline and logo use deep green and blue colors. A longleaf pine tree is included to symbolize strong roots, growth and natural beauty.
