RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Gov. Pat McCrory is continuing his tour of the state to discuss the two bond proposals he's seeking to have approved by the legislature for voters to consider.

The governor will be joined by Transportation Secretary Tony Tata and Budget Director Lee Roberts in Fayetteville Tuesday for a roundtable discussion on the bonds that total nearly $3 billion.

A $1.37 billlion bond is devoted to transportation/road needs in 57 counties. It would address 27 highway projects and 176 paving projects.

A $1.48 billion bond is devoted to other infrastructure. Two-thirds of the counties would benefit -- 64 -- from 101 projects.

The trio will discuss the bonds at Fayetteville State University. The event is open to credentialed press.
