RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Prime real estate in Raleigh could be set to become a destination park if the Council of State signs off on a deal for the state to sell the Dorothea Dix campus to the City of Raleigh.

The group will meet next week to discuss the $52 million deal negotiated by the McCrory administration and Raleigh Mayor Nancy McFarlane.

On Monday, legislative leaders who earlier expressed concern that the price was too low said they were good with the deal and that Gov. McCrory's office had addressed their concerns with details of the contract.
